Step 99. Slide the flat end of a spudger underneath the bottom edge of the volume button bracket. Adjust the spudger so that it can move away from the rear case without contacting the protruding peg that is on the volume button. Rotate the spudger to pop the bracket off of the peg on the volume button. Add a comment.

Back camera lens not working after back glass replacement for 8 Plus I replaced the back glass and battery on my iphone 8 plus and now one of the camera lenses on the back stopped working. The slow motions lens works fine but the photo/video lens doesnât seem to work as the screen goes black rather than showing a picture etc.
If not backlight circuit may need to be fixed via someone that does micro-soldering. This can be confirmed by trying out the old screen and see if it works. If not try putting a flashlight on the screen and see if you can see display with a dim screen (might need to do it when the phone is turning on with apple logo).
